A $200 deposit will reserve your spot for Acatex.

This $200 will be applied towards your final purchase of your All-Access passes.

Passes will be purchased during the 2021-2022 school year when registering individuals for the convention.

Competition space is limited to 16 ensembles.

There is no limit on non-competitive ensembles.


If you are bringing more than one ensemble, you will pay a separate deposit for each ensemble.

If you are not selected to be a competitive ensemble, you will have the option of receiving a full refund or to still have your deposit apply to your All-Access passes.

  • Please submit a video recording of your competitive ensemble.

  • Your video submission must include only current members of your 2021-22 ensemble. 

  • Your YouTube video must be an unlisted link, and must not exceed 4 minutes. 

  • Use this time however you like! This material does not have to be what you perform in December.

  • Submission Deadline: November 7th, 2021 @11:59pm.

  • Competition Lineup to be announced November 12th.

  • Your $200 Application Fee/Deposit will go towards your All-Access Passes when registration opens. If you are not selected to be a competitive ensemble, you may choose to receive a refund of your deposit, or attend the convention as a non-competitive ensemble, with your $200 deposit being applied to your all-access passes.

  • If your group advances to the competition, you must be present at the Preliminary round on Friday, the 3rd. There is a 4 minute time limit at Prelims.

  • If your group advances from Prelims to Finals, you must be present at the Finals round on Saturday, the 4th. There is a 12 minute time limit at Finals.

  • Competitive groups must arrive at check-in at Heath High School on Friday, Dec. 3rd by 4:30pm. 

  • Upon completing your registration, you will immediately receive an email receipt of your submission. An invoice of $200 for your attending ensemble will be sent soon thereafter, along with a W-9 by request, to be paid by October 1, 2021 to secure early-bird pricing (www.acatex.org/pricing).

  • Competition space is limited to 14 ensembles. The $200 deposit is refundable if your ensemble is not chosen for Prelims, however we encourage you to take advantage of our non-competitive Saturday Showcase and workshops throughout the convention. No refunds will be made after Friday, November 19th.
